Learn practical assembly skills while working four days a week in production and attending vocational school one day a week. Earn a salary during training; no previous experience is required.
The role
At our client company in Noord-Brabant, you will learn to assemble components and build trailers as a work-study assembly worker. The Dutch BBL route combines four days a week in production with one day of vocational school. You earn a salary while learning. No experience is required: experienced colleagues will provide clear instruction and support. As your skills grow, you will take on tasks more independently.
What you'll learn
- Assemble components using hand tools and production machines.
- Read and use technical drawings.
- Put parts together to build a finished product.
- Check your work for quality and finish.
- Work safely and accurately, and cooperate with colleagues.
Training and schedule
You will spend four days a week in production and one day at vocational school. The training is paid, and there is a flexible start date. The programme offers the opportunity to earn a recognised Dutch MBO vocational diploma within two years.
What we're looking for
- An interest in technology and enjoyment of practical, hands-on work.
- Motivation to learn a skilled trade and a willingness to learn by doing.
- Confidence to ask questions and the ability to work well with others.
- VMBO level or comparable education; you may also be close to completing it.
- Reliability and a commitment to keeping agreements.
- No previous experience is required.
What we offer
- A salary from the start of the work-study programme.
- On-the-job guidance from experienced colleagues.
- Good tools and the chance to learn with modern techniques.
- Opportunities to develop further in technical production work.
