The role
At our client company in Moerdijk, you’ll work in a factory with machinery and installations that need to keep running. You’ll learn to locate and fix mechanical or electrical faults. You’ll also support planned maintenance, such as replacing parts and lubricating machinery, and learn to carry out repairs and weld. You’ll keep the work area safe and tidy.
Working pattern
You’ll work day shifts. Once you’re comfortable with the work, you’ll also take part in on-call duties to respond to equipment breakdowns. The installations need to run 24/7.
What you bring
- You’re dependable, take initiative and notice what needs doing.
- You’re willing to take part in on-call breakdown duties.
- You have a technical interest or experience, are practical and enjoy hands-on work.
- You’re eager to learn and open to instructions.
- You speak and understand Dutch well; this is essential for understanding workplace safety instructions.
