The role
As a production worker, you will support several departments in the manufacturing of high-quality sheet-metal products. You will work alongside experienced colleagues and step in where extra support is needed. Tasks and short production runs vary from day to day.
What you will do
- During busy periods, especially on Fridays, you will help with manual sheet-metal bending. Experienced colleagues set up the machines; you operate them and assist with the work.
- In a production cell, you will work on short runs that change daily. Tasks include assembly, masking and riveting; you will learn to carry them out independently.
- In the powder-coating department, you will hang and remove products and help on the line according to the daily plan.
- In assembly, you will put components together and help finish products where needed.
- There may be opportunities to develop towards operating machinery independently, such as a welding robot.
