The role
At our client company in Utrecht, you will help convert buses and other vehicles into tailored solutions for healthcare, taxi services and public transport. Some conversions include adaptations for wheelchair transport and other customer requirements. You will install and connect technical components such as floors and seats, read technical drawings and electrical diagrams, test that everything works as intended, and help find solutions if something does not fit. You will work with colleagues from different disciplines.
Working hours
You work day shifts. Starting at 6:00 is possible; on Fridays, you finish at 10:15. Starting at 7:00 or later is also possible; in that case, you work later on Fridays.
What you bring
- Vocational education at MBO level, preferably in a technical field such as automotive technology, electrical engineering or metalworking.
- Technical aptitude and experience with tools and materials.
- The ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; you communicate easily with colleagues.
- Experience with or an interest in vehicle technology or electrical engineering.
- The ability to read electrical diagrams, or a willingness to learn.
- A tidy, safe and quality-conscious approach, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
- Enjoyment of hands-on work and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
