The role
You will learn to make and process metal products and parts. You will prepare the work, read technical drawings, measure and check the result, and complete the work.
What you will learn
- How to work with materials such as steel and aluminium.
- Different processes, including cutting with a torch, sawing, grinding and welding.
- Sheet-metal work, machining and structural fabrication.
- Safe working practices when using large equipment and machinery.
- The training also covers Dutch, maths and civics. Additional elective modules may be available to help you specialise further.
You will join a close-knit team where colleagues support one another and personal development matters.
