Full-time work on stainless-steel structures and storage tanks at a production site in Gouda, Groot-Ammers or Lopik. Work from technical drawings using welding and metal-forming methods. MBO level 2 and technical knowledge required.
The role
As a production worker specializing in sheet-metal fabrication and welding, you will work for our client company at one of the production sites in Gouda, Groot-Ammers or Lopik. At the Gouda site in South Holland, you work on stainless-steel structures and components; at the sites in Groot-Ammers and Lopik, you help build stainless-steel storage tanks. The products are made for clients in sectors including food, dairy, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, as well as for general storage.
Working from technical drawings, you process stainless-steel sheets and components. You use welding equipment and machinery for TIG and MIG welding, rolling, shearing, bending and sawing. You also assemble structural parts such as pipes, hollow sections, shafts, caged ladders and platforms.
Work and schedule
This is a full-time position. Specific working hours and any shift pattern have not been provided.
What you bring
- An MBO level 2 diploma or higher, preferably in sheet-metal work or structural metalwork.
- A TIG or MIG welding certificate for stainless steel, or willingness to obtain one.
- A valid VCA Basic certificate, or willingness to obtain it within three months of starting.
- Ability to speak and write Dutch; English is an advantage.
- Knowledge of materials and machinery, and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Accuracy, efficiency, flexibility, initiative and the ability to work independently.
