The role
You will work in production in Edam with metal and aluminium components. Depending on your work area, you may focus on coating, pre-processing or assembly. You will follow work instructions and drawings and help ensure careful, timely production.
Your tasks
- Coating: pre-treat and coat aluminium products. Monitor the composition of process baths, carry out quality and safety checks, track raw-material consumption and perform minor machine maintenance. You will also move products using a forklift.
- Pre-processing: process materials into components ready for assembly. Tasks may include sawing, rolling, polishing, grinding, drilling, milling, shearing, bending and grooving. Check that orders are complete, carry out periodic machine maintenance and contribute to improvements.
- Assembly: assemble products according to instructions and drawings, prepare them for dispatch and work with colleagues to improve process efficiency and quality.
