Set up and convert machining equipment, prepare materials and tools, read 2D and 3D drawings, and carry out quality checks. 40 hours a week, starting on day shift and moving to shift work later.
The role
At our client company in Noordwijkerhout, you will work as a production worker manufacturing and machining components. You will set up and change over machining machines for new production orders. You will secure materials and tools, load an existing program and adjust the machine.
You will follow production plans, technical drawings, quality guidelines, safety rules and work instructions.
What you will do
- Identify and inspect blunt or defective milling cutters and drills, and replace them.
- Read 2D and 3D drawings to check that components meet the requirements.
- Carry out in-process and final inspections independently.
Schedule and hours
You start on the day shift and move to variable shift work over time. The position is 40 hours per week.
What you bring
- Experience with machining machinery and experience or an interest in technical work.
- A problem-solving approach, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Accuracy, a team-oriented attitude and flexibility.
- A good command of Dutch and willingness to work shifts.
