Work in Tilburg producing steel components. Operate and set up machines, check product quality and work early and late shifts. The role offers a permanent contract, 38 hours per week and a salary of €2,300–€3,195 per month.
The role
You will work as a production worker in a high-tech manufacturing environment in Tilburg, making steel components mainly for the automotive industry as well as components for hearing aids.
At the daily team briefing, you review the previous day’s results and the plan for the day ahead. The lead operator explains which machines you will operate, which products will be made and what tasks you will take on.
You check machine settings, start the equipment and inspect the first items against the required quality standards. A colleague from the measurement room also checks them. Once they are approved, you run production and monitor quality.
When a machine develops a fault, you try to resolve it by following the procedures. If needed, you work with maintenance technicians. You change over the machine with colleagues for the next product and hand over the work to the incoming shift at the end of your shift.
Working hours
You work 38 hours per week on a changing early and late shift schedule.
- Early shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:30.
- Late shift: Monday to Thursday, 14:15–23:15; Friday, 14:15–18:15.

- Experience in a production environment is an advantage, but is not essential.
