Join the galvanizing production process in Kampen, handling and checking materials as part of a team. Work in a two-shift system. Pay: €2,480–€2,600 per month, plus a 13.3% shift allowance.
The role
As a production worker at our client company in Kampen, you will work with a team on galvanizing materials. Under the foreperson's guidance, you will help keep production safe and running smoothly.
Main duties
- Hang and galvanize materials.
- Assist with tasks around the galvanizing bath.
- Remove materials from the transfer frame.
- Check the coating thickness and appearance of galvanized materials.
- Operate a forklift when needed.
Shift pattern
You must be willing to work a two-shift system. The shift allowance is 13.3%.
What you bring
- An interest in the metal industry and a willingness to be active at work.
- Enjoy working with your hands.
- Knowledge of steel properties and quality, or a willingness to learn.
- MBO-level education and working and thinking ability.
- A good command of Dutch.
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
- A hoisting certificate is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the production process, especially galvanizing, machinery, production and safety regulations, and the quality system is an advantage.
