Help galvanize metal parts at a plant in Dieren. You will hang materials, work at the zinc bath and check finished coatings on a rotating two-shift schedule. Pay is €2,480–€2,600 per month, excluding a 13.3% shift allowance.
The role
As a production worker at a galvanizing plant in Dieren, you will help galvanize metal parts. Working with colleagues under the supervisor’s guidance, you will help keep production running smoothly and safely. The work is varied and hands-on.
Your duties
- Hang materials and prepare them for galvanizing
- Carry out tasks at the zinc bath
- Remove materials from the traverse
- Check the thickness and appearance of galvanized coatings
- Operate a forklift when needed
Work schedule
You will work a rotating two-shift schedule.
What you bring
- An interest in metalworking and an active approach to work
- Enjoyment of hands-on work
- Knowledge of steel, or willingness to learn
- MBO-level work and thinking skills
- A good command of Dutch
- Willingness to work two shifts
- A hoisting certificate is an advantage
- Knowledge of the production process, especially galvanizing, machinery, production and safety procedures, and the quality system is an advantage
