Design and make custom fixtures for DIN baskets, from Fusion 360 layouts through production, assembly and testing. Work with cutting, bending and machining equipment. A level-4 technical qualification is required; pay depends on knowledge and experience.
The role
You will design and manufacture practical, custom-made fixtures for DIN baskets, working within the standard dimensions of stainless-steel baskets. The layout is intended to keep the basket contents in place during transport, cleaning and sterilisation. You will create configurations in Fusion 360 and take part in production, assembly and testing.
The role combines digital design with hands-on work in a modern workshop. You will optimise layouts for efficiency and ease of use and work with colleagues to improve production processes.
Main responsibilities

- Create accurate configurations in Fusion 360.
- Manufacture components using waterjet and laser-cutting machines, a press brake, lathes and milling machines.
- Assemble and test fixtures to high quality standards.
- Work with colleagues to improve production processes.
What you bring
- Completed technical education at ROC level 4, such as Engineering, Design & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field.
- Experience with drafting in Fusion 360 is an advantage; experience with other CAD programs, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor, is welcome.
- An affinity for CNC-controlled machines.
- Preferably, experience in manufacturing, assembly and machining processes.
- Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail and a precise approach.
- An independent, structured way of working.
