The role
At our client company in Hardenberg, Overijssel, you will help produce concrete products. You will operate and set up machinery, monitor product quality and help keep production running smoothly. The role is 40 hours a week in a rotating two-shift system.
What you’ll do
- Set up and operate machines correctly.
- Monitor the production process and product quality, record deviations and sort out B-grade products.
- Identify disruptions, resolve minor faults and contact the technical service team when needed.
- Replenish machines with raw materials and other supplies; package and store finished products and semi-finished goods.
- Work with a forklift.
- Keep the workplace, machinery and site clean and safe. Clean the mixers, hoppers and press daily, removing concrete residue; this takes about 1 to 1.5 hours per day.
What you bring
- MBO-level working and thinking skills; a technical or mechanical background is an advantage.
- An interest in production processes and technology.
- Experience in a production environment is preferred.
- A technical foundation for operating machines and learning to set them up.
- A valid forklift certificate or a willingness to obtain one.
- A proactive, accurate and results-oriented approach.
- Alertness, the ability to maintain an overview and to respond quickly.
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to keeping the work area clean and safe.
- A serious attitude towards safety instructions and occupational health, safety and environmental requirements.
Pay and benefits
- Gross pay of €2,738–€3,365 per month for a 40-hour week, depending on experience, plus a shift allowance.
- 25 days of annual leave and 12 ATV days (additional days off under the working-time reduction scheme), based on a 40-hour week.
- 8% holiday allowance and a 3.5% year-end payment.
