The role
This role at an asphalt plant in Lelystad combines practical production work with precise laboratory tasks. You will assess raw materials and produced asphalt and contribute to quality control. You will work with colleagues from the plant and asphalt laboratory, moving between the two work areas.
Responsibilities
- Assess the quality of incoming raw materials.
- Take samples of asphalt produced at the plant.
- Adjust asphalt mix recipes based on test results.
- Examine and assess drilled core samples.
- Prepare and carry out asphalt tests using available equipment, alongside laboratory colleagues.
- Help load trucks or prepare materials when needed.
Working hours and shifts
The working week is 40 hours. During the warm season, you work a two-shift rotation, alternating between day and night shifts with a colleague. Saturday work may be needed by agreement.

What is offered
- A salary of €2,571–€3,083 per month for 40 hours per week, excluding allowances.
- A 130% allowance for night work and overtime; overtime worked at night carries a 150% allowance.
