Operate production equipment for industrial minerals in Amsterdam, working a variable three-shift schedule. Full-time availability, Dutch-language skills and own transport are required; a Dutch forklift certificate is preferred.
The role
Our client company in Amsterdam processes, stores and transships industrial minerals. As a production worker, you operate equipment for grinding, crushing, screening, drying, bagging and repacking. You work in a dynamic, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment used for grinding, crushing, screening, drying, bagging and repacking.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy.
- Identify faults, problems and defects in the equipment.
- Actively promote the safety policy and report any shortcomings to the shift leader.
- If you hold a Dutch forklift certificate, move packaged products using a forklift and operate mobile equipment safely and correctly. Carry out minor machine maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning and checks, and report defects or faults to the shift team promptly.
