The role
As a production preparation associate, you make sure materials and raw materials are ready so production can begin. You assemble and process components and prepare workpieces for production.
Responsibilities
- Carry out basic checks on incoming materials and report deviations clearly and promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
- Maintain and clean production equipment and work areas to support continuity and safety.
- Contribute to planning, technical documentation and administrative records. Coordinate material availability and lead times with planners and technicians.
- Use ERP/MRP systems, digital drawings and 3D models to record bills of materials and processing instructions.
