A varied, hands-on production role in Sprundel. Assemble metal and plastic parts, process components, install and wire electrical cabinets, and work from mechanical drawings. Accuracy matters more than speed.
The role
At our client company in Sprundel, production work is varied rather than repetitive. You will make and assemble components and work on installations, using mechanical drawings on paper or in a CAD program.
What you will do
- Assemble metal parts and process metal and plastic, for example by drilling and sawing.
- Weld or bond plastic parts, then assemble them.
- Install electrical cabinets and run wiring to the components on the installation. Initially, a person with an electrical background carries out the electrical connections. After internal training, you will take over these connections yourself in due course.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, either on paper or in CAD.
- If a design proves difficult to make in practice, discuss it with the engineers so the drawing or approach can be improved for next time.
What you bring
- The ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- An accurate way of working; care and precision take priority over speed.
- An interest in practical, hands-on work.
- An MBO school leaver with an interest in hands-on work may also be a good fit.
