The role
As a production and packing worker in Hedel, you will contribute to making baby potatoes, fries, potato slices and gratins. You will prepare production and packing tasks, set up production machines and auxiliary equipment, check that they work properly and adjust them when needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production and make adjustments when needed.
- Check the quality of products and packaging.
- Support the quality-control colleague with checks and recording results.
- Identify errors and resolve minor malfunctions.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Specific working hours and shift arrangements have not been provided.
What you bring
- At least VMBO level (Dutch pre-vocational secondary education).
- An affinity with food production; experience in food manufacturing is an advantage.
- The ability to communicate in Dutch and/or English, verbally and, if needed, in writing.
- A service- and quality-minded approach, and the ability to handle busy periods.
- Willingness to attend HACCP training or a refresher course.
- Motivation to progress into an operator role.
