The role
At our client company in De Goorn, Noord-Holland, you will combine leading a team of three to four welders with hands-on production welding of structures. Together with colleagues in production planning, you will prepare the production plan, monitor progress and ensure orders are completed according to schedule. You will flag potential bottlenecks early and discuss solutions with colleagues.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate the work and monitor the use of work methods and procedures.
- Carry out welding work yourself and read technical drawings.
- Help maintain a positive working atmosphere, as well as order and cleanliness in the work areas.
- Support the development of team members.
- Take overall responsibility for all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Brief and instruct the team on occupational health, the environment and safety through toolbox talks.
What you bring
- MBO-level work and thinking ability.
- A welder qualification in accordance with NEN-EN ISO 9606-1, position PA.
- Experience leading people in a production environment and experience with production structural welding.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
