The role
As a hands-on assembly team leader in Echteld, Gelderland, you will lead one or more assembly projects while also working on machine assembly. You will track progress and quality, coordinate tasks and resolve operational issues.
You will coach and support production employees and help train new starters. You will also manage tools and workstations, ensuring materials are repaired or replaced in time.
You will check time records and quality, and discuss progress, issues and improvements with production planning and sales. You may also help organise the production floor efficiently using lean principles. The shift pattern and working hours are not specified.
What you bring
- Experience in mechatronics or a technical background; a level 4 vocational qualification (Dutch MBO) is an advantage.
- Technical aptitude and accuracy when following procedures.
- Experience coaching and leading a team.
- The ability to implement change initiatives.
- Effective communication in Dutch and with other departments.
- The ability to work effectively under time pressure.
