The role
As the hands-on team leader of an assembly hall, you guide the team each day and take an active part in assembling prefabricated structures. The workplace is in 't Zand, North Holland.
Work and schedule
Using construction drawings, you assemble wooden frames, attach membrane and sheet materials, fit insulation between the studs and, where needed, install window frames or installation components. You then finish the structure on the other side. Lifting straps are used to move structures through the hall.
You make sure materials and tools are available on time, monitor the weekly plan, targets, progress and quality, and uphold work agreements, quality standards and applicable certification requirements. You coach the team, act as the first point of contact for questions, identify bottlenecks early and contribute to product and process improvements. You also promote teamwork and maintain safety, order and cleanliness, including the correct use of personal protective equipment.
The role is full-time. Shift pattern and exact working hours are not specified.
What you bring
- An MBO diploma, preferably in a technical field.
- A coaching leadership style and clear communication.
- Decisiveness, a structured approach, and strong planning and organisational skills.
- Experience with timber-frame assembly and production processes.
- The ability to read construction drawings.

- Pay of €2,996–€3,750 per month for a full-time role, depending on education and experience, on scale E of the applicable timber-industry collective agreement. A 2% pay increase is scheduled for 1 January 2026.
