The role
At our client company in Ridderkerk, you will help prepare fresh fruit and vegetables for dispatch. You will cut, process and pack the produce, operate and check cutting and packaging machines, check product quality and shelf life, and keep your work area clean and tidy. You will follow hygiene, quality and food-safety procedures and work with colleagues to meet the production plan.
Hours and schedule
This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours. Exact working hours and any shift pattern are not specified. Flexibility is expected; this is not a strict 9-to-5 role.
What you bring
- Experience as a production worker in food or fresh-produce production.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety.
- An accurate, attentive and hygienic approach to work.
- Flexibility and a good command of Dutch.
- Enjoyment of teamwork and motivation to achieve results together.
- Ability to work in a cool environment at around 5 °C.
- An enthusiastic, reliable and hands-on attitude.
