The role
As a door assembly worker, you assemble components and complete cold-room and freezer doors to technical drawings and specifications. The position is based in Zwaagdijk-Oost, North Holland.
Work and process
- Check the required materials and tools before assembly and prepare for the work.
- Carry out quality checks during production and report any deviations.
- Perform functional tests and final inspections, and record the results.
- Work with colleagues to keep production on schedule.
Most of your work is on subassemblies and complete doors in serial production, at fixed workstations and in permanent teams of 6 to 10 assemblers. There are occasional project-based special builds and revision work. The tasks are approximately 60% mechanical, 20% electrical, and 20% testing and adjustment.
