Our client company in Helmond is looking for a production worker for day shifts. You process aluminium profiles and help with sawing, punching, finishing, labelling and packing. Experience is an advantage, but not essential.
The role
Our client company in Helmond, Noord-Brabant, is looking for a full-time production worker on the day shift. You process aluminium profiles and help prepare products neatly and safely as part of a team.
- Saw profiles to size on a sawing line
- Carry out rolling operations on profiles and punch them
- Finish components
- Label and pack products
Most tasks are repetitive. Depending on the production plan and staffing, you may move between operations or carry out the same task for a longer period. Tasks are rotated where possible. Experienced colleagues will train you step by step, including how to operate the sawing line and finish products neatly.
Working day and schedule
You review the day's plan with your team before getting started. You work carefully and safely, paying attention to detail. The day-shift schedule is Monday to Thursday, 7:45 am to 4:30 pm; on Friday, the working day ends at 2:15 pm. A flexible working-hours arrangement is available.
What we are looking for
- You have a hands-on, can-do attitude and enjoy practical work.
- You are willing to operate a sawing line and have a good eye for detail.
- You can work independently and contribute reliably to a team.
- You work neatly and safely, keep your commitments and are looking for a long-term position.
- You speak and read Dutch well enough to understand work instructions and safety rules.
Experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. School leavers are welcome too. It is also possible to combine work with a work-study programme.
What is offered
- A full-time role in a stable production environment on the day shift.
- A pleasant workplace with short communication lines and supportive colleagues.
- A pension scheme with a low employee contribution and a collective bonus scheme.
- For employees on a permanent contract, an end-of-year payment equal to half a month's salary.
- Personal protective equipment and ergonomic work equipment.
- An open approach to training, including consideration of your school day if you take part in a work-study programme.
- Room for initiative, shared celebrations, staff events and small gifts.
- A company fitness scheme and fresh fruit every week.
