Work as a cheese production worker in Meerkerk, finishing cheese, applying protective coatings, and adding bands and labels. Full-time, 40 hours a week, usually on a rotating two-shift schedule; manual coating is done on day shift.
The role
At our client company, you will work at a production site in Meerkerk where cheese is cared for, finished and packed. The cheese is already made when it arrives, so this is not a cheesemaking role.
Your duties
- Apply a protective plastic layer to cheese
- Wrap cheese with bands and apply labels by hand
- Apply paraffin to cheese
- Coat cheese by hand
Working hours
This is a full-time role at 40 hours per week, on a rotating two-shift schedule:
- Morning shift: 05:30–14:30
- Evening shift: 14:30–23:30
Manual coating is done on the day shift, from 07:00 to 16:00.
What you bring
- Experience with, or an interest in, a similar production role
- Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week
- Physical strength and enjoyment of active work
- At least 18 years of age
- Willingness to work a rotating two-shift schedule
What is offered
- Starting pay from €2,825.92 per month for 40 hours a week, adjusted to your experience and in line with the applicable collective agreement
- 25 days of leave for a full-time position of 40 hours per week
- Shift allowances under the applicable collective agreement: 140% from 05:30 to 07:00, 130% from 18:00 to 22:00, and 140% from 22:00 to 23:30
