The role
As a production worker, you will carry out a range of production and packing tasks in a bakery in Geldermalsen. You will do simple manual and machine-based production work and check products for quality and defects.
What you'll do
- Pack products in trays, boxes or other packaging.
- Handle rejected products in line with the applicable procedures.
- Identify and report technical problems.
- Keep your work area and the surrounding workspace clean, removing product, oil and grease residue.
- Sort waste correctly, help prevent waste and use raw materials, supplies and energy carefully.
What we're looking for
- Availability for at least 24 hours per week.
- Availability for a three-shift schedule, including late and night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- A dependable, practical and careful approach, and an interest in active, hands-on work.
- Comfort with frequent standing, walking and lifting, and a neat, accurate way of working.
- The ability to handle a fast pace, take responsibility, keep commitments and work well with colleagues.
- The ability to communicate verbally in Dutch and/or English, and willingness to follow quality, environmental and safety requirements.
- Experience in a bakery or production environment is an advantage.
What is offered
- 38 hours per week for full-time work or 24–32 hours per week for part-time work.
- €15.97 gross per hour, before shift premiums.
- Premiums for evening, night, weekend and public-holiday shifts in line with the collective agreement for the industrial bakery sector.
- 25 days of annual leave per year under the current collective agreement, plus 8% holiday allowance on top of base pay.
