Full-time production work in Zaandam. Weigh, dose and mix raw materials to recipes, operate processing equipment, record batch data, take samples and prepare products for dispatch. Monday to Friday, across two daytime shift schedules.
The role
As an all-round production worker, you will help make ingredients for the food industry. You will follow recipes, procedures and instructions. You will receive step-by-step training so that you can eventually take responsibility for the production process independently.
What you'll do
- Collect and prepare raw materials for production.
- Accurately weigh, dose and mix ingredients.
- Operate production equipment used to mix and process powdered and liquid products.
- Follow recipes, procedures and instructions.
- Record batch and process data, and take samples for the laboratory.
- Fill products and prepare them for dispatch.
- Clean tools, equipment and the work area.
Working hours
You will work full-time, Monday to Friday. There are two day-shift schedules: 07:00–15:45 and 08:00–16:45.
What you bring
- A good command of Dutch.
- Completed MBO level 2 education.
- A VCA Basic certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- An accurate, careful and responsible approach to work.
- The ability to perform physical work and a hands-on attitude.
- A willingness to learn, pick up process steps quickly and switch between tasks.
- An interest in keeping the workplace clean and tidy.
- A positive attitude.
- Experience with these products is not required; training is provided.
What is offered
- Gross salary of €2,700–€3,000 per month, based on full-time work. The exact level depends on your experience, knowledge and relevant qualifications.
- A temporary contract, with the intention of offering a permanent contract if your performance is good.
- A travel allowance for a home-to-work distance of 10 km or more.
