The role
As an all-round production worker, you take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of a production department. You combine hands-on work with coordinating a team of two to three colleagues and oversee the process from planning through execution.
What you will do
- Prepare the daily schedule and discuss it with your team.
- Allocate tasks and monitor progress and quality.
- Help package products and prepare them for dispatch.
- Ensure the work is hygienic and efficient, including cleaning crates.
- Handle the department's related administrative tasks.
- Encourage a positive working atmosphere, motivate colleagues and listen to their concerns.
