The role
As an all-round production worker, you will contribute to building modular homes and bathrooms. You will carry out a range of finishing work in production and at project sites, helping achieve a high-quality result.
Responsibilities
- Help with finishing work in production and at project sites.
- Carry out sheet-metal work and prepare and/or fit sheet materials.
- Do plastering and painting, and finish bathrooms.
- Suggest improvements.
- Contribute to a safe, well-organised and supportive working environment.
Hours and contract
The role is for 32–38 hours per week. The temporary employment contract is for one year, with the prospect of permanent employment if performance is good.
What you bring
- Preferably, completed technical or construction-related education, or equivalent experience.
- Preferably, experience in construction.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to plan and organise tasks.
- Clear communication with colleagues.
- Resilience under pressure, a practical approach and a solution-oriented mindset.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate well with others.
- A basic VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
