A part-time warehouse role in Breda, Noord-Brabant, for 12–24 hours per week. Replenish shelves, pick and check orders, and prepare them for dispatch. Shifts may include weekends and fall between 05:00 and 22:00.
The role
You will work in a warehouse in Breda, Noord-Brabant. Duties may include replenishing shelves, order picking or handling goods in the transport area. You will use an electric pallet truck and scanner, count items and record quantities, pick and check orders, and prepare them for dispatch. You will keep your section in order and support colleagues when needed.
Hours and shifts
You will work 12–24 hours per week. A 12-hour week is spread over 3–4 days; 24 hours over 4–5 days. Shifts may include weekends, mornings, daytime and evenings, between 05:00 and 22:00. Shelf-replenishment shifts run between 05:00 and 10:00. You may block out 1–2 fixed days each week when you cannot be scheduled.
What you bring
- MBO-level work and thinking skills, the Dutch vocational education level.
- Flexibility with working hours.
- The ability to walk a lot, around 15,000 steps a day on average, and do physical work.
- A BHV workplace emergency-response certificate, or a willingness to obtain one.
- A responsible and independent approach to work.
- Your own transport, as public transport is not feasible for this location and these working hours.
- Dutch language skills or fluent English.
- An enjoyment of working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- A willingness to learn, handle several tasks and work effectively during busy periods.
What is offered
- An all-in hourly rate from €17.74 for employees aged 18 and over, depending on knowledge and experience. This includes a 13th-month payment and 8% holiday pay. These are normally paid in December and May; monthly payment is also an option.
- A 50%–100% premium for irregular hours: on weekdays and Saturdays for work before 07:00 or after 21:00, and throughout Sundays and public holidays.
- An annual collective bonus scheme, set each year, of up to 150% of your gross monthly salary.
