A varied quality and compliance role covering product data, supplier documentation, imports and regulations. 32–40 hours a week in Naaldwijk.
The role
For our client company, a wholesaler in Naaldwijk, South Holland, we are looking for a Quality and Regulatory Compliance Coordinator for 32–40 hours a week. You will work across quality, compliance, product data and imports, bringing structure to product and supplier information and keeping the related documentation complete and traceable. You will collaborate with colleagues in purchasing, logistics administration and product management, and regularly contact suppliers in the Netherlands and abroad.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, verify and maintain product and supplier data; request and manage certificates, declarations, product specifications and other required documents.
- Check products and packaging against relevant Dutch and EU regulations, and maintain and verify labels and mandatory product information.
- Support and manage SKAL certification for organic products, and prepare and check COI documents (Certificate of Inspection) in TRACES for imports of organic goods.
- Manage import, quality and product compliance files. Prepare for the EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation), identify the products, raw materials and suppliers in scope, and gather HS codes, origin data, supplier declarations and geolocation data.
- Help set up and operate the Due Diligence System (DDS), and contact suppliers to obtain missing compliance or traceability information.
- Monitor regulatory changes and turn them into practical actions, including requirements relating to product safety, GPSR, REACH and packaging. You will also support audits and inspections and help improve, automate and centrally document internal processes.
What you bring
- Accuracy, curiosity, a structured approach and attention to detail.
- Strong administrative and digital skills, including the ability to organise large amounts of information clearly.
- An interest in new regulations and the ability to apply them in practical work.
- The ability to work independently, take responsibility for your files, follow up with suppliers and manage changing priorities.
- A good command of Dutch and English.
- Experience in quality, compliance, product data, import/export, food/feed or a similar area is preferred. Knowledge of TRACES, SKAL, EUDR, organic imports, labelling, product safety or customs and import processes is an advantage. You do not need to know everything from day one; accuracy and a willingness to learn are important.
Hours and schedule
The role is based in Naaldwijk and is for 32–40 hours per week. No specific daily or shift schedule has been stated.
What is offered?
- A varied role with responsibility, scope to establish and improve processes, and opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Pay based on your knowledge and experience, in line with the applicable collective agreement; no amount is stated. A good pension plan and 8% holiday allowance are also offered.
- An employee discount on the product range, contact with international suppliers, social activities and annual events.
- The contract type has not been specified.
