Prepare traffic signs, check returned materials and keep the warehouse and yard tidy in Ede. 32–40 hours per week; €2,700–€3,250 per month on a full-time basis.
The role
You will work for our client company in Ede, in the warehouse and on the yard. You prepare traffic signs for the field teams by applying text and symbols and ensuring a neat finish. You reject signs that no longer meet requirements and arrange replacements. Once you have shown you can do the work well, you can also learn to use the software for creating text layouts for signs.
After projects, you check that returned signs and materials are complete and in good condition. You report any discrepancies promptly and carry out minor repairs yourself. You also help maintain and wash work vehicles. You keep the warehouse and yard tidy by sweeping, removing weeds and putting materials away neatly. You work indoors and outdoors alongside colleagues.
What we’re looking for
- You are practical and careful, flexible and a team player.
- You speak and write Dutch.
- You can do physical work and work outdoors, including in rain or cold.
- You hold a forklift certificate and a VCA certificate, or are willing to obtain both.
- You live within 30 km of Ede.
What we offer
- A temporary contract for at least one year, with the prospect of a permanent contract.
- 32–40 hours per week.
- €2,700–€3,250 per month on a full-time basis, depending on relevant experience and knowledge.
- 25 days of annual leave and 13 roster-free days, based on full-time hours.
- A travel allowance and additional employment conditions under the collective labour agreement for the Metal and Technology sector.
