The role
We are looking for a warehouse worker for our client company in San Luis Potosí. You will learn the tasks for your assigned warehouse area from the team leader and follow applicable safety, environmental and work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Handle, store, pack, preserve and issue materials safely and correctly.
- Code and identify materials, assign lot numbers and maintain traceability.
- Handle, transport and store chemical substances in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Process material transfers promptly in the electronic system and carry them out physically.
- Carry out cycle counts, process warehouse transactions and take part in shift handovers.
- Follow safety procedures, including LOTO and rules for working at heights, cutting and welding, and confined spaces.
- Support follow-up on corrective actions after improvements and audits; report unsafe conditions, request that they be corrected and suggest improvements.
What you bring
- Completed secondary education.
- Experience with ERP/SAP, document management and inventory control is preferred, along with basic Office skills and the ability to work well with others.
- One year of inventory-control experience and one year of experience with a quality system.
- Basic knowledge of 5S and cycle counting; scanner experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of general forklift safety rules.
