Lead a warehouse team in Waddinxveen, coordinate daily logistics and improve processes. The role works in a two-shift schedule and pays €2,900–€3,550 gross per month.
The role
A client company in Waddinxveen is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader. You will lead the warehouse team and work continuously to improve team results and processes.
Your responsibilities
- Coach, direct and motivate employees, with a focus on Lean working practices.
- Coordinate daily activities, monitor work and progress, and address deviations by providing additional instructions.
- Make effective use of staffing capacity and help ensure employees can carry out a range of tasks.
- Plan internal logistics for warehouse put-away and retrieval using the WMS.
- Resolve operational issues, hold stand-up meetings, and help develop and implement improvements in the warehouse.
- Monitor compliance with legal and company requirements, including RI&E, HACCP and BRC, and take part in the internal emergency response structure (BHV).
Shift schedule
You will work a two-shift schedule: the early shift runs from 05:45 to 14:45 and the late shift from 15:15 to 00:15.
What you bring
- MBO+/HBO-level working and thinking ability.
- Experience leading a team and with daily warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of and experience with a WMS.
- The ability to motivate people, communicate effectively and keep an overview.
- A solution- and results-oriented approach, with planning and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of or experience with Lean is an advantage.
- Good computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
