Lead a warehouse team in Veghel, combining staff planning, quality and stock oversight with hands-on work. Day shift, 40 hours per week.
The role
At our client company in Veghel, you coordinate daily warehouse work in a production environment. You lead the warehouse team and combine people-focused leadership with hands-on work. You maintain oversight and help ensure goods are handled safely and according to procedures.
Responsibilities
- Plan staff deployment and allocate work as efficiently as possible.
- Monitor goods intake, the quality of incoming goods and warehouse operations.
- Oversee the unloading, loading and handling of raw materials and other goods.
- Step in to help with warehouse work when needed.
- Track stocks of personal protective equipment and some packaging materials.
- Act as the point of contact for replacements of work clothing, footwear and other practical needs.
- Coordinate planning or process changes with planning and logistics colleagues.
- Use an ERP system to organize processes and maintain records.
- Plan maintenance for mobile equipment.
- Monitor compliance with quality and hygiene requirements.
- Contribute to improvements in working methods, systems and teamwork.
Schedule and hours
The role is on the day shift, 40 hours per week. You need to be flexible when circumstances require it.
What you bring
- At least MBO-3 work-and-thinking level, gained through education and/or experience.
- Demonstrable experience leading people with a focus on both results and people.
- Experience in a production or warehouse environment; experience in a comparable production setting is an advantage.
- Computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
- Attention to quality, cleanliness, safety and hygiene.
- A willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Good spoken and written Dutch.
- Preferably living near Veghel.
- Flexibility to adapt when required.
