Lead a warehouse team in Lutterworth and coordinate daily operations. Permanent, full-time role on a rotating four-on, four-off schedule with day and night shifts. Salary up to £2,916.67 per month plus shift allowance.
The role
As Warehouse Team Leader at our client company in Lutterworth, you will be responsible for a designated warehouse area. You will oversee daily operations, the team and client relationships. You will proactively plan staffing, equipment and work for each shift, while promoting a safe working environment and supporting the team's development.
Key responsibilities
- Lead staff and workflow in your assigned area.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Coach team members, provide feedback and support their development.
- Support performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management in line with company policy.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to ad hoc projects.
- Be accountable for team performance against measures for productivity, accuracy and service levels.
What you bring
- Leadership experience, preferably in logistics, retail or e-commerce.
- Experience managing teams.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- An accurate, quality-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Respectful communication and the ability to encourage team engagement.
- Automation experience is highly desirable.
Schedule and offer
This is a permanent, full-time position on a rotating four-on, four-off schedule. You will work alternating day and night shifts from 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00. Flexibility is required during peak periods.
