As warehouse team leader in Almelo, you lead the team, improve logistics processes and service, and support planning. This is a full-time role with varying shifts. MBO-level skills, logistics leadership experience, and excellent spoken and written Dutch and English are required.
The role
We are recruiting for a client company in Almelo, Overijssel. As warehouse team leader, you lead warehouse employees and help ensure the department runs effectively. You support the department plan, report to the supervisor, and take over various tasks during the supervisor’s absence or leave.
You work to improve productivity and efficiency. You propose improvements to work methods and procedures to enhance service and increase satisfaction among internal and external customers. You help reduce errors and lead times, and support effective communication and collaboration within and beyond the department. You also assist with implementing HR policies and contribute proactively to continuous improvement.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with varying shifts. You must be willing to work overtime during peak seasons and, if needed, outside them as well.
What you bring
- MBO-level working and thinking skills (intermediate vocational level).
- Good knowledge of logistics operations and experience with logistics processes.
- Experience leading warehouse employees.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems; PKMS is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Experience implementing ISO 9001 quality procedures.
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure; an improvement-focused, team-oriented and customer-focused approach.
- A strong sense of business ethics and willingness to work different shifts and overtime when needed.
