The role
Our client company is looking for a team leader for a designated warehouse area in Crick. You will oversee day-to-day operations, the team, workflow and customer relationships in your area. You will plan staffing, equipment and shift activities proactively, while supporting safe working practices and team development.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff and workflow in your designated area.
- Promote and monitor safe working practices.
- Coach team members, provide feedback and support their development.
- Assist with performance management, disciplinary procedures and absence management in line with applicable policies.
- Drive continuous improvement and support ad hoc projects.
- Be accountable for team performance against productivity, accuracy and service-level KPIs.
What you bring
- Leadership experience and experience managing teams.
- Experience in logistics, retail or e-commerce is desirable.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- An accurate, quality-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Respectful communication skills and the ability to encourage team engagement.
- Automation experience is highly desirable.
- You must be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship.
Schedule and offer
This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, 16:00–00:00. Flexibility is required during peak periods. An additional shift allowance is provided.
