Our client company in Bergen op Zoom is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader. You will guide warehouse staff, support planning and improve logistics processes. Full-time work with variable shifts; MBO-level work and thinking ability, logistics experience, and excellent Dutch and English are required.
The role
Our client company in Bergen op Zoom is looking for a warehouse team leader. You help keep the department running effectively and lead warehouse employees. You support departmental planning and report to the supervisor. When the supervisor is absent or on leave, you take on a range of their tasks.
You work to improve productivity and efficiency, reduce errors and shorten lead times. You propose changes to work execution, methods and procedures to improve service and satisfaction for internal and external customers. You also promote effective communication and collaboration within and outside the department, assist with implementing HR policies, and contribute proactively to continuous improvement.
This is a full-time role with variable shifts. You must be willing to work overtime during peak seasons and, if needed, outside them.
What you bring
- MBO-level work and thinking ability (intermediate vocational level).
- Good knowledge of logistics operations and experience with logistics processes.
- Experience and ability in managing warehouse employees.
- Good knowledge of warehouse management systems; PKMS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Experience implementing ISO 9001 quality procedures.
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure; willingness to work different shifts and overtime during peak seasons and, if needed, outside them.
