Lead a warehouse team in Almere, support two foremen and improve day-to-day logistics. Gross monthly pay: €3,161.24–€4,552.60, depending on your experience and background.
The role
At our client company in Almere (Flevoland), you are the day-to-day point of contact for the warehouse team. You lead two foremen and support them with their daily team leadership and development. You are visible on the floor, keep an overview and take initiative to make work more efficient.
- Plan and allocate work in the warehouse.
- Lead warehouse staff each day, coach and guide them, and hold performance review meetings.
- Track KPIs, productivity, quality and costs.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve logistics and administrative processes.
- Coordinate with other departments and join the operation when needed.
- Ensure internal transport equipment is maintained and monitor any damage.
What you bring
You are confident, practical and clear, willing to make decisions and able to bring employees along through change and improvement.
- MBO+ level of working and thinking, preferably in logistics (Dutch vocational education level).
- Experience leading employees.
- Experience in a logistics environment.
- A good command of Dutch.
- Comfortable using MS Office.
- Experience with SAP EWM or another WMS is an advantage. If you have not used one before, you can learn.
What we offer
- Gross salary of €3,161.24 to €4,552.60 per month. Your salary level depends on your background, education, relevant work experience, and the skills and expertise you have built in a similar setting.
- 25 vacation days and 13 additional ADV days. You may exchange the ADV days for 5% higher pay.
- 8% holiday allowance and a 2% year-end payment.
