The role
As a Supervisor for our client company, you are responsible for either the early or late warehouse shift in Venlo, Limburg. You lead team leaders and warehouse employees and work towards achieving the department’s objectives.
You analyse departmental results, improve productivity and efficiency, and propose ways to improve services and customer satisfaction. You help reduce errors and shorten lead times. You also hold consultations within and outside the department and act as a point of contact for the internal organisation and suppliers.
You coach, train and motivate team leaders and the wider team, and train new employees. You work in an environment focused on continuous process improvement.
Schedule
This is a full-time role on either the early or late shift. You are flexible, resilient under pressure and willing to work overtime during the season and, if required, outside it.
What you bring
- Working and thinking ability equivalent to bachelor’s or master’s level
- Demonstrable experience managing large groups
- Good knowledge of logistics processes and warehouse management systems
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
- Decisiveness, problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
