The role
Our client company in Oldenzaal is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. You will lead the Team Leaders and warehouse employees in your department and be responsible for achieving its objectives. You will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities
- Analyse department results and focus on productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Use customer satisfaction research to propose service improvements.
- Reduce errors and shorten lead times.
- Conduct consultations within and outside the department, and serve as the point of contact for the internal organisation and suppliers on department-related matters.
- Lead, coach, train and motivate Team Leaders; coach the team and train new employees.
- Contribute to a continuous process improvement environment.
Hours and shift
This is a full-time position on the evening shift, from 15:00 to 00:00. You must be willing to work overtime during the season and, where necessary, outside it.
Your profile
- MBO+/HBO-level working and thinking ability.
- Demonstrable experience leading large groups.
- Good knowledge of logistics processes and a warehouse management system, preferably WMi.
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude and strong leadership skills; able to motivate a team.
- Decisive, with problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, 5S and Lean Six Sigma.
- Flexible and resilient under pressure, and willing to work overtime during and, if needed, outside the season.
- Willing to work the evening shift from 15:00 to 00:00.
