The role
As Warehouse Shift Leader at our client company in Hedel, you will lead, guide and coach a team of warehouse employees. You will keep daily operations running efficiently, with quality and safety as priorities.
Together with the operations manager, you plan and organize staffing. You monitor the flow of goods through internal logistics and work with the quality team to safeguard product quality during storage.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, guide and coach the team.
- Plan and organize staffing together with the operations manager.
- Improve workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain product quality during storage in cooperation with the quality team.
- Ensure the efficient flow of goods through internal logistics.
- Maintain a safe, tidy working environment and ensure compliance with house rules and safety regulations.
- Support good communication within the team and with other departments.
- Onboard new employees and foster good team dynamics.
You report to the Assistant Logistics Manager. During their absence, you and the other shift leaders provide cover.

- MBO+ level of education and professional capability.
- Supervisory experience in a warehouse; experience in the food industry is an advantage.
- Natural leadership and a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work effectively with software and systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Flexibility, willingness to work rotating shifts and resilience under pressure.
