The role
At our client company, you will combine warehouse duties with support at the reception of a technical workshop. You will help ensure technicians have the right parts and materials and assist with taking in and scheduling workshop jobs.
Your duties will include:
- Ordering, receiving, checking and issuing parts and materials.
- Managing stock and keeping the warehouse organised.
- Finding parts and ordering them from suppliers; following up on orders, delivery times and returns.
- Coordinating with technicians about the parts and materials they need and preparing these for jobs.
- Supporting the reception team with taking in and scheduling work, and answering customer questions at the counter, by phone or email about parts and workshop jobs.
Hours
You will work 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday. Overtime may be required when needed.
What you bring
- At least MBO level 3–4 in terms of work and thinking ability.
- A technically oriented background is preferred.
- Technical insight and an interest in technology.
- Warehouse or parts-management experience is an advantage.
- An accurate, organised approach and the ability to maintain oversight.
- Good communication skills and a solution-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- German and English language skills are an advantage.
- Availability to work on Saturdays and overtime when needed.
