The role
At our client company in Rotterdam, you will work in a warehouse handling medical, pharmaceutical, technical and other goods. You will carefully receive incoming deliveries and prepare orders for international dispatch by sea and air. Your work supports reliable logistics for medical goods.
Your responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and receive and hand over parcels and goods.
- Check quantities, expiry dates and product quality.
- Store goods, log incoming products and maintain records in various systems.
- Keep track of stock with colleagues.
- Pick orders, build pallets, and record and label shipments accurately.
- Prepare sea- and air-freight shipments.
- Keep the warehouse tidy and work safely, including when handling medical equipment and hazardous substances.
- Handle medicines in line with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) guidelines for safe distribution.
What you bring
- A hands-on approach, an interest in logistics, motivation and commitment.
- Previous logistics experience is an advantage but is not required.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English, for communicating with international colleagues and processing documents.
- An educational and practical level equivalent to Dutch MBO (intermediate vocational education).
- Availability for 36 hours a week, spread over five days.
- A category B driving licence.
- The Christian faith should be important to you.
