Work in Krimpen aan de Lek keeping goods flowing efficiently and stock accurate. Duties include receiving and inspecting goods, picking items and preparing shipments. A logistics qualification or warehouse experience and a forklift certificate—or willingness to obtain one—are required.
The role
As a warehouse operative with our client company in Krimpen aan de Lek, Zuid-Holland, you will work with colleagues to keep goods moving efficiently and stock records accurate.
Your responsibilities
- Receive goods from suppliers and the production floor and put them in the correct storage locations.
- Visually inspect incoming goods for quality, packaging, item numbers, quantities and dimensions according to technical drawings.
- Pick the correct items using production files or order cards, and update stock accurately with a scanner.
- Pack items and prepare them for dispatch.
- Carry out stock counts using count sheets and report possible component shortages to the manager or assistant manager.
What you bring
- A logistics qualification at Dutch MBO level 2 or above and/or several years of warehouse experience.
- Experience in a technical production environment is an advantage.
- A forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- The ability to provide a Dutch Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
- An accurate, structured approach; good teamwork with colleagues and suppliers; and resilience under pressure.
- The ability to work at a fast pace without compromising quality. A strict 9-to-5 mentality does not suit you.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
