The role
As a warehouse operative in Dordrecht, you keep goods moving between the warehouse, production and transport. You receive and handle raw materials, pallets, bulk goods, packaging materials and returned goods. You follow safety, quality and hygiene procedures, with attention to food safety.
Responsibilities
- Unload incoming goods, check their completeness, quality and hygiene, report discrepancies, and record receipts and stock changes in the ERP system.
- Store goods in the correct locations, maintain stock accuracy and ensure timely replenishment.
- Pick customer orders, check them using the four-eyes principle, then repack, label and palletise them.
- Load lorries and complete the related transport administration.
- Supply raw materials and packaging to production according to production orders; receive and store finished products.
- Carry out basic user maintenance on the forklift, charge or change batteries and report faults.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
What you bring
- MBO 1/2 work-and-thinking level; no specific diploma is required.
- At least three years of experience in a similar logistics role.
- A valid forklift certificate and good forklift driving skills.
- Experience with stock control, goods administration and ERP systems; WMS experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety, quality and hygiene requirements; knowledge of food safety systems and BRC/HACCP is preferred.
- A good command of Dutch, spoken and written.
- Good communication skills and a practical, proactive approach. You work accurately and systematically, take initiative and can switch between tasks with a focus on process.
- You are flexible and reliable, willing to support colleagues and careful with goods and equipment, safety and tidiness.
