The role
At a transport company in Giessen, Noord-Brabant, you help ensure goods are handled safely and correctly in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks correctly.
- Check incoming and outgoing freight for contents, safety and any damage.
- Report discrepancies and damage.
- Record goods received and dispatched.
- Store goods correctly.
- Keep the work area and materials clean in line with agreed procedures.
- Work in accordance with applicable ADR, GDP and AEO requirements.
Shifts and hours
This is a 40-hour working week. You work late and night shifts, usually from around 18:00 to 02:30. The hours can be discussed.
What you bring
- A forklift and reach truck certificate, or a willingness to obtain them.
- Knowledge of the transport and logistics sector is an advantage.
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings and nights.
- An accurate, quality-conscious approach to your work.
- The ability to work in accordance with ADR, GDP and AEO requirements.
