Work in a warehouse in Dokkum, picking, processing and preparing orders for dispatch. You will also inspect and record incoming goods and keep the warehouse tidy. Rotating shifts, with working hours extending to 9:30 p.m.
The role
As a warehouse operative with our client company in Dokkum, you will help ensure orders are processed accurately and on time. You will use a handheld scanner to pick sales orders, process them according to customer requirements, pack them and prepare them for dispatch.
You will also inspect incoming goods, record them in the computer system and put them in the correct place in the warehouse or shop. You will work with your colleagues to keep the warehouse tidy.
Shifts and hours
You will work rotating shifts, with working hours that can extend to 9:30 p.m.
What you bring
- An interest in logistics processes and the construction sector.
- Experience in the industry is an advantage.
- Willingness to complete vocational training.
- A forklift certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexibility and good social skills.
