Warehouse operative/buyer in Werkendam handling goods, stock control, order picking and internal transport. An MBO diploma and warehouse experience are required; forklift and VCA certificates are an advantage.
The role
At our client company in Werkendam, you will work as a warehouse operative/buyer, responsible for stock control and the smooth flow of goods and materials. You will ensure that items are in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Receive, check, store and move goods and materials, and inspect them or arrange for their inspection.
- Pick orders, pack goods and prepare them for dispatch.
- Manage stock and record incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouse system.
- Maintain stock records, including booking items in and out, and check warehouse documents.
- Handle internal transport using a forklift or reach truck, and load and unload trucks.
What you bring
- An MBO diploma, preferably in logistics.
- Experience with warehouse work.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Navision) is an advantage.
- An interest in improving work processes in and around the warehouse.
- An accurate, structured way of working and good communication skills.
- Flexibility, a customer-focused approach and good physical fitness.
- A forklift certificate and VCA certificate are an advantage.
